The Beans.
These beans come to us from the region of Veracruz, which is the second largest coffee producing state in Mexico. Various smallholders brought these beans to the Descamex facility where water is used to separate the caffeine compounds from the green beans (we don’t understand it either!) in a process known as Mountain Water Process. Grown at 1200-1600masl
